Even through the sadness and stress I am able to smile and laugh. It was for only a moment but that moment was caught.

Always smile, you never know who is watching.

Be the change you want to be!

This is a reality that I have had to relearn constantly! I wear my heart on my sleeve every day and send out so much positivity that at times I don’t have any left over for myself. As much as I would like to change I can’t, this is who I am and so this is why people treat me as they do.

My work and personal life has been so stressful. Being the person I am I’ve tried and tried again to push through and just ignore the horrors life can bring. I’ve failed though and many have noticed but still I smile. My boss of just a few months has noticed how stressed and broken I am. Today he sent me flowers, the note read “With appreciation for your dedicated service.” It little things like this that will always make me strive to be a positive person and see the beauty in life.

People forget just what our soldiers do for us. This serves as a reminder.

I’m proud to say that through my Husband’s deployment I stood by him! Every day I wrote him a letter, every other week I sent him a package and every second he was in my thoughts and prays. He is my Hero.
